I met Cindy at a photoshoot in 2012.. I knew who she was and we had become friends on facebook. At this time.. she was still doing hair and makeup and she rocked!! We got to talking.. then ended up having a little lunch date at Primanti's.. We had a lot in common and instantly became friends. Over time.. she got more and more into being behind the camera and LOVED it. She rocks whatever shoot she does.. and I am so glad to call her my FRIEND!
When and how did you start out in your profession? I started photography in 2011. I first started modeling and then began doing hair and makeup for photo shoots. Photography was always an interest of mine. I carried a camera with me for years, but after seeing the professionals do their thing, I wanted to try it for myself...for real! I bought a DSLR camera and got help from some awesome friends that are photographers. And now here I am trying to build a business for myself.
What are the main photography sessions that you offer? Right now I offer sessions for pets, couples, models (fashion/beauty) and weddings. I also do the occasional family, High School Senior and kids sessions.
How did you know that this is what you wanted to do?
I knew that this was what I wanted to do because I enjoy doing it and allows me to be creative. It also makes me happy to hear the positive feedback I get from clients after they see their photos. Creating a memory for them is a great feeling and they will have it forever.
What can clients expect from you?
Clients can expect a fun and laid back experience when they book a photo session. I try to make everyone as comfortable as possible and there's no pressure. I am a very easy going person and bring that attitude to every shoot. A photograph isn't about the snap of a button, but more envisioning and creating the desired result. I want to help the client embrace the unforgettable moments that happen in their life, so they can look back and remember the priceless and happy times. I strive to capture that perfect moment, that heartwarming smile and that sparkle in the eye. Each session is about the client and wanting to achieve the desired result.
Most memorable client?
All of my clients are memorable. I have a memory from each client and every one is a different experience. I learn something new with every session and helps me to keep improving.
What are some future goals for your business? The most important goal I have for myself is to do photography full time. I also want to travel more and have my own studio where I can create art and do what I love.
Tell us more about you personally (small bio) I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. I come from a very supportive family and I want nothing more than to make them proud. I work hard for what I want and do not stop until I get to where I want to be. I am a very easy going person and I love to have fun. I enjoy the outdoors, the beach, makeup and of course, photography.
